Barack Obama's recent announcement that he is ending the "don't ask, don't tell" policy concerning homosexuals in the military, is another example of how our nation is moving ahead in its efforts to turn our backs on God, and place ourselves at even greater risk of incurring His increasing  chastisement of our nation.  In these increasing times of apostasy, it is important that parents understand the link between homosexuality and the teaching of the religion of evolutionism in the public schools. Those who support these blatant offenses against God are more often than not products of our corrupt, anti-God public school system.  It is vital that parents understand that evolutionism is really a religion masquerading as science, and that it does have a profound impact on what seems on the surface to be unrelated issues (like homosexuality). At its foundation, evolutionism is rooted in the religions of atheism and humanism. Both of these false religions directly challenge the authority of the Bible, and indirectly (often in subtle ways) encourage their believers to substitute the false 'wisdom' of men for the infallible true wisdom of our Creator.

As the priests of evolutionism labor diligently in our public schools to indoctrinate our children with their world view, one side-affect of their efforts is that they often succeed in convincing many of their students that the moral absolutes of the Bible (i.e. homosexuality is sinful) are not to be believed. How do they do this? By attacking the very foundation of the Bible, the book of Genesis. If they can convince their students through their bad science that Genesis is not a true account of our history, then they've succeeded in undermining the whole authority of the Bible. Not all evolutionists have this as a goal. But intentional or not, this is the often the net affect of the dogmatic teaching of evolutionism as fact in the public schools. Christians who fall for this deception typically end up on one of three paths in their lives:

  1. They engage in highly creative interpretations of the Bible to try to make the Bible somehow 'fit' with the lies of evolutionism. This then sets a precedent for the twisting of other parts of the Bible, including its clear statements about homosexuality being sinful. Once Christians start traveling down this road, it often becomes a slippery slope that leads to all kinds of other gross misinterpretations of scriptures. Now, their "sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" (Ephesians 6;17) is now a dull sword. They may still be Christians, but they're less effective (sometimes to a very great degree).
  2. They abandon the moral absolutes of Bible all-together. This is becoming more and more a trend with young people who have been indoctrinated in evolutionism for many years in the public school system.
  3. They initially are 'believers' in evolutionism, but later become concerned about what seems to be irreconcilable differences between the Bible's account of Creation and Evolution. This concern causes them to investigate further by getting the opposing views to evolutionism. Those who do this with an open mind often discover the truth that God's Word can be trusted (including the book of Genesis), and that evolutionism is indeed a false religion disguised as science. This then can lead to a proper understanding of how God intended homosexuality, among other issues, to be viewed. It can also completely eliminate the need to do creative Bible interpretation, because now the plain reading of scripture is readily understood to be the truth.

Many of the priests of evolutionism are very hateful of Christians and creationists in particular. One would only need to see the e-mail received by sites like ours from many college and high school teachers to see the evidence of this. There are many other examples of this bigotry.

Parents have a God-given responsibility to protect their children from these kinds of harmful spiritual lies. Being a Christian is not about setting your own rules and placing your own opinions over God's will. It's about accepting God's free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, then accepting His total authority over your life, and living by His rules (as spelled out in the Bible) regardless of what your personal opinions are. Those who choose to go another way will answer for it on God's Judgment Day (that includes the ignoring of God's clear warnings about Evolutionism).

We encourage you to visit the links at the bottom of this page for more information about the relationship between evolutionism and homosexuality, or homosexuality in general.  Some of these links also deal well with the myth that homosexuality was only a sin in the Old Testament.

We encourage our fellow Christians pray for those in the homosexuality community who are gripped by this lifestyle that they may one day see what God really has to say about this issue, and humble themselves before Him and repent of this sin.  As Christians, we should hate the sin, not the sinner.  If you are a Christian and know persons who are gay, keep them in your prayers and be a good ambassador for Christ by treating them with dignity and respect.  If the Lord opens up an opportunity for you to lovingly witness to them about this issue, pray for guidance and move forward with it.  If He does not, pray that He will  bring someone else into their lives who will.  Remember, we have all sinned against God. Show them the same patience and love that God showed you before you finally abandoned your rebelliousness towards Him and surrendered your heart unconditionally to Him, on His terms.

He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both [are] abomination to the LORD.
Proverbs 17:15

Although we as Christians need to take a stand against homosexuality, and we need to be good ambassadors for Christ in terms of how we deal with it, God makes it clear that his role in addressing it is much different.  He calls many of them out of that sinful lifestyle and brings them into a full understanding of his grace, love and forgiveness.  He also has reserved for himself the right to avenge those Christians who have been persecuted by homosexuals or those who support them.  It is important that Christians not get so frustrated with the sinful gains of those who support homosexuality and try to take matters into their own hands by engaging in sinful acts themselves against homosexuals or their supporters. That is not our role.  Revenge and punishment will happen to those who refuse to repent of their sins against God, and for those who persecuted God's children, but not by our hands.  Punishment and revenge are God's exclusive responsibility.  Romans 12:19 is very clear on that point.

It is important that those who support homosexuality understand this distinction too.  They should not be lulled into a false sense of security by their legal gains, or by corporate America's embracing of their sinful choices.  They should also understand that when they persecute Christians who chose too take God's side on this issue, that God himself (not we Christians) will inflict a very heavy penalty on them for doing so.  While we earn eternal rewards in Heaven for enduring persecution, those who inflict it earn increasingly harsh, eternal punishment (Proverbs 25:22, Romans 12:20).  God views persecution of his saints as hatred directed at him personally (John 15:18).  He has made it clear that he "hates" the people who do this, and that very harsh, eternal punishment is coming for them.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: or it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Romans 12:19

Some may experience the early stages of his wrath before they die.  Others will experience it in next life after they die.  Deceiving yourself into believing that this won't happen won't make God or his judgments go away.  It's a harsh reality one can voluntarily chose to deal with in this life by repenting of your sins (including homosexuality) and accepting God's gif of salvation, or you will be forced to deal with it the next life when there are no more options to choose the path of salvation.  There won't be any liberal presidents, liberal congress, ACLU lawyers or corporate leaders who can help you then.  Most of them are going to be in the same dire straights as you are.  It's just you and God, and you're going to have to give an account to him face-to-face for the decisions you made in this life.  If you chose to ignore his clear warnings, or if you chose to persecute his saints, Judgment Day will be a day filled with terror and fear the likes of which you have never experienced before.  It will be followed by an eternity of suffering beyond anything you can imagine.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;  Acts 3:19

For those of us who are already Christians, we understand all too well how bad the horrors of an eternity in Hell will be.  When we consider the fact that we are just as deserving of that fate as unrepentant homosexuals are, we feel no sense of superiority whatsoever over those who chose to remain in their sins.  When you truly understand God's offer of salvation, you realize it's not something you can earn or even deserve.  It is a gift from God.  For that reason, we reach out into the homosexual community and those who support them in love, not from condescending attitude.  We want them to experience the same joy we have through faith in Jesus Christ.  We want them to be with us in Heaven for all of eternity, not languishing in Hell.  If you are a homosexual who is searching for a way out of the homosexual lifestyle, we encourage you to visit our Resources for helping homosexuals, their families and friends link.

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Luke 15:7
